No sound through speaker yet headphones work

Hey so I have an ampeg BA-115 V2 and and out of no where I cannot get any sound through the speaker, no hum, no crackle or anything. When I plug in my headphones to the amp everything works fine but when I remove them the speaker stays muted. I’ve tried cleaning everything but I’m not sure what else to do. Any ideas of what could be the problem? Amps only about a year old

I had a similar experience with my Roland Cube. The connector to the power module had become dislodged and it had no output other than the headphones and DI.

Tread carefully with this, dangerous voltages lurk inside, if you’re not sure take it to a tech.

Sorry not quite sure what you mean, I wasn’t able to get any sound when plugged in the the XLR either

Sorry...the manual addresses a handful of BA models and no two are exactly alike feature-wise.

You should have an FX Send & Return on the faceplate. Connect an instrument cable between the two...it works sometimes. Can't explain the XLR as it appears to be post EQ but pre FX loop and pre Headphones & mute. The XLR / DI was connected to what?

Do you have the headphones plugged in? There is a mute circuit on the BA115 that is linked to the headphone input. If you unplug the phones, the speaker should work. There could also be an issue with the headphone jack wiring/mute wiring.

Nope that’s the problem, when I unplug them the speaker is still muted, most stores I take it too won’t work on it
