NOBD.. got the SR5 back..

Got my SR5 back..cant wait to put it through the Aguilar again.. i sold it for financial reasons about a year and a half ago. really regreted it.. i was gutted after....didnt know where it had gone..then it came up out of the blue.. had to have it back.... its an amazing bass as they all are.. well i think its a special one...

Awesome man. I've had my SR5 H for 9 years now, and it's consistently been my go to bass for gigs even though I have "sexier" basses. One of these days I'm going to add an HH to the herd.

I've bought one from WD Music for mine and it looks great but I think they only do single H.

Pickguard Heaven seems to be more of a "made to order" kind of place. Haven't used them yet but WD had great service and quick shipping.

My opinion on the SR5 is it's a fairly aggressive bass but I have a maple neck and play with a pick a lot so it has bite. But I have gotten some really smooth fingerstyle sounds out of it too. I think it sits nice in the mix too.

Not to be a jerk but that's what the entire post is about... how could he be more clear?

yeah it can be aggressive, thats what i like...what i really like is the punch it gives...an SR5 tone is always there...

In your opinion guys, would you say its a versatile bass.. sorry its been a while since i played it. .. or one...

did i say havent got it back yet..im with my Modulus VJ4 at the mo..

i just remember the amazing warm punchy tone it produced..thats what i loved about it..that and the cheeky growl it had.. how would you compare it to an SR4? ive only played an SR4 once very briefly..
