Anyone have any experience with these? Looking to replace the pickups in my American Standard P. Why, you ask? Because they don't sound like a P, to me anyway. Mid-scooped, not really thumpy either. Lots of definition.
What I want is thump but controlled, defined bass. I've had Fralins (undefined bass from E to G but otherwise awesome), Aguilar 60's (very defined, great sounding pickup for recording, not enough THUMP for gigging).
I was about to buy the Geezer but since the Nordstrand NJ4 is my favorite Jazz pickup, I thought I'd ask about the NP4. Any experience?
