Noise in an iMac

I use Logic with two machines...a27” iMac (wow) and a MacBook Pro.

As I use the iMac, there’s some odd low-level noise coming from it, and not just when I use Logic, but all audio (streaming video, Apple Music, etc). Odd random noises that get stranger when I move the mouse or type on it. It doesn’t seem to make it onto the recordings I mix and transfer to audio files and email or upload.

My MacBook Pro has no such noises, as best as I can tell.

Anyone else seen this?

Thanx!

Okay, perhaps some of you have this problem and don't have a solution. I did what I should have done and did my own research.

An AC ground lift (that little 3-prong to 2-prong adapter) solved my problem. I was also prepared to get a USB ground/shield lift adapter, but it wasn't necessary.
