Noisemaker pedals??

Stumbled across these looking at various fuzz pedals, I've never even heard these mentioned here. Is there a reason nobody talks about them? They've got a bunch of different fuzzes which are priced right ($100 and below) and look to be built pretty good. Anybody use them?

I don't know anything about them, but their product lineup raises a question for me. Not specific to Noisemaker, of course. How many flavors of OD and Fuzz are enough? Are these different architectures, or just slight variations of the same one or two circuits? How would a guy ever hope to select the right one given that he'd never get the chance to sample them all in his rig. (or gal, she'd, her)

Matt from Noisemaker FX is an active member over at ilovefuzz, and he has his own section in the Shark Tank section at ILF. You should be able to find info and opinions over there. I haven't personally tried any of his pedals.

As for grisezd's question, how many flavors are enough? The answer is that there isn't an answer. I personally have about a half-dozen fuzzes, and they're all very different. A gated laser-beam fuzz, a muff, an octave fuzz, a really noisy high gain fuzz that I use for feedback and walls of noise, and my new Great Destroyer which oscillates and spits and does a lot of unpredictable things. It's really all about how you can use them.

Yea Matt does a little bit of everything, hence all the options. I highly doubt it's like DE where one component got swapped...new pedal! I used to have the crush fuzz. It sounded nice and seemed solid.

Heh, I do believe it was me who bought your Crush Fuzz. Matt is a super solid dude, and his pedals are pretty interesting. They sound pretty killer, but at lower gains, there is a bit of low end loss on the ones I've tried, which is the Crush Fuzz and the Noise Invaders. They sound awesome on guitar, though.
