Noisy amp in certain places.

Not uncommon, especially with the cheap LED bulbs from China that do not have FCC testing of come with fake certifications. About 1/2 of all bulbs from China do not have legitimate EMC/safety certifications. The name brand products made in China (Ge, Osram, Phillips, etc) are generally ok.

The bulb I'm referring to is (was) a fluoro, though I get what you're saying.
Interestingly, plugging in a LED worklight to a wall socket in the same room created no interference whatsoever.

Just found a "halogen energy saver" bulb been laying around for years.
Fit it to the same ceiling socket, no noise!

Same issue exists with compact fluorescent bulbs for the same reasons, non-compliance and most often from the same region. Since most self-ballasted CFLs have been phased out, I didn’t mention them.

I guess, for the benefit of the OP and others, the lesson is to troubleshoot the simple things first!
