Nomad Strings and Speakers

I have a fernandes nomad bass, and i am wanting to change the strings and speaker.

strings:
25.5 inch scale.
i prefer flats.
(piezo pup)

speaker:
currently a fernandes 10w, 8ohm, 4" (i believe)
i would like to put a better speaker in it, but not sure who makes a 4" bass speaker

any suggestions for these two?

I don't have one, but the speaker you should be able to replace fairly easily. Anything that has more than a 10W rating should get you a little more bottom- keep in mind, though, that there isn't much "cabinet room" in that itty bitty body.

...and not really an answer to the OP, who wanted different strings for his Nomad that those that came with it, and also has been AFTB for some time. But, should anyone be looking for "Nomad strings", I'll leave this here:

A lot of you guys have been going crazy over strings, although you can't buy them online, Fernandes still offers their round wound NOMAD strings for sale.
