Non Ampeg cab for the PF 20T

Hi fellows, I recently had a bad experience with a PF 115. A beautiful and great sounding cab, but full of issues that make it unusable. Many undesirable noises, even after I carefuly tighted every screw, and some tones that doesn't sound full. So finally I decided to give it back and ask for my money.
I am thinking in another brand, but, due the virus, there is not so much chances to try the cabs with the PF 20T.
I find a Genzler Magellan 112t, any thoughts about it?

It sounds like your cab had issues that you weren’t able to resolve. With your amp, consider a non-portaflex cabinet such as a SVT210AV. Check this post by chupacerveza who has a 20T and the 210: Official Ampeg Portaflex Club

Consider a do-it-yourself cab, or find some plans and have someone local build it for you. There are many plans available. I use 115 EV cabs that are similar to a TL606 with my amps, I don’t have a PF-20T:

Thank you guys!

I just tried the SVT 210AV with my amp in a studio and sounds amazing. It's also cheaper than the PF's. But it's out of stock here right now, so I check every day on the official Ampeg local dealers' web site.

I like the sound of mine

Cool videos from Andertons guys, I have never seen this one. Thank you for posting it.

Xavier, look for the Ampeg svt 15e, or svt15en. You can get them used usually for under $200. And they rock.
I tried some PF cabs a few years ago. I know alot of guys dig them, but they werent for me. (though they look cool)
Also look for old Eden cabinets and SWR. Older cabs sell for cheap.

I am from Santiago. Chile is a beautiful country. A lot of wonderful places to visit, mountains, beaches, deserts, forests.... But we are so far, everything takes a lot to get here, we don't have stock for every great stuff and prices are sometimes double than the ones you can get in the US.
Years ago I bought used a nice Ampeg 410he, matched with a V4b. But then I left the band and sold my stuff, to focus on my job (double bass at the Opera House).
But last year, I recovered my Rickenbacker 4003 (that I stupidily sold years ago) and my GAS grew up again. So I bought the PF gear, thinking on how great was an SB-12 that I had. The 20t is great!!
