They are pretty easily replaced...just make sure you like dope up your wife first...

My bass is pretty much all black except for a few things like inlays and the nut - I would never resort to spray painting it, though! Instead of the red LED maybe I could change it to a black light somehow. I also put DR Black Beauties on it to complete the black look. I really like the feel of them, too...
