Noob Conversion to Fretless

In short, as I continue my relative new journey from brass to 4 strings, the idea of a fretless for several reasons (a teacher and the sound) was pulling at me. So I built one starting with a cheap Squier Jaguar Modified.
As far as electronics at this point just disabled the active circuit which is known to not be great.

Wasn't going to pay for a fretless neck so converted the Jag's to one.
That's where the labor was.
Still not done with a new bridge and flats on order.
I like what I am hearing and feeling so far.

Filling clean and then filling in the slots was a major part of the process. Getting them so that even though they are still visible when you run your fingers over them you feel nothing. The material used was a recommended walnut powder from Gork's GoodFilla filler, then finished with TRU-OIL gunstock finish.
