Hi, my name's Jeff and I am a newbie.

Pretty sure I am going to purchase a bass within the next month. I've played guitar for 3 years, wanted a bass for 1. Thought I'd catch some opinions from this site.

Jeff, do you have any thoughts as to what kind of bass you are looking for? Maybe you could let us know what kind of music interests you.....tell us a little about yourself and your goals.
