I had my big singles installed by someone years ago.
They have a white, black and grey wire.
I just assumed they were installed correctly.
I just noticed the white and grey wires are connected. (Hot and whatever the grey wire is).
Nord states that the grey should be connected to an active pres "common" and I have a buffered active pre.
My question is does it really matter? Would it alter the sound in any way connected like this? The bass sounds normal, but nowhere in nords literature does it say you can connect the grey wire to the positive.
