Dear Hive Mind,
I haven't seen a good comparison discussion of Nordstrand J5-style basses vs Alleva Coppolo LG5 or other J5-style ACs. Everyone I've asked directly says that quality and craft are on par. The visual aesthetic, sound (especially due to the PU/Preamp differences) and neck dimensions are the biggest differences of note. Apples and oranges, in other words. As an AC owner, I can attest to the latter's awesomeness. But have never been able to play a Nordy, which I'm very curioius about.
Anyone who is familiar with both basses have anything to say or add?
