hey all
can someone please explain to me the workings of the nordstrand 3b4a midrange control? besides the fact i hate midrange in an EQ toolkit, this function makes absolutely no sense to me. thanks in advance

Turning the knob boosts or cuts by 12 db. The frequency is 1khz by default. Pull the knob out and it switches to 400hz. You can swap the cap(s) soldered to the push/pull mid pot to change the frequency selection.
