I was talking to my local rep at the GC. He said that during their furlough, none of the employees in that store missed a paycheck

Say what you want about GC, whatever various ownership.

Pretty decent those folks got pay checks while the doors were closed

Interesting. When I worked there, all the sales people's salaries were mostly comission. It was minimum wage "draw plus commission. " I am kinda surprised to hear they were willing to pay furloughed employees. I didn't get the warm and fuzzies when I worked there for 2-3 years.
