Not seeing YouTube videos except in quoted replies.

I don't see the youtube video in the original post, but I see it if someone quotes it in a reply.

Safari 9 on Mac 10.10 and 10.11.

I'm stumped on this one. Turned every protection I dared to off and it still does it. Only on talkbass.com too.

When did this start? After the upgrade to Safari 9? I'm on Safari 8, but will upgrade and see if I can duplicate. We may need to update the youtube media plugin.

I have a similar problem on my iPad, but it works with Firefox on the Mac.
Mine is not consistent - I can see the video in the demo thread.

It must be Safari. I can see the Genzler one in Firefox (mac), but not on the iPad or Safari on the mac.

Can you see the video in the quote a little ways down on the first page? I can see it there no problem.

In the quote? Yeah, I always see those. Sometimes I hit "reply" so I can see the video in the composition window, then I delete the reply without posting it.

Great. I disabled "deferred loading" of YouTube videos. When enabled it was supposed to speed up thread load times, by not loading a video preview until the user actually viewed the post. So now all vids load at once when opening a thread.

Actually, the threads with multiple videos now load better. No split second pause while scrolling
