So Im out doing errands today and I see a big sign that says DULUTH TRADING CO. next exit, so I go and check it out, there TV commercials are pretty funny, but maybe they don't play in socal, anyways I go in and look around, kind of yupified and a bit pricey but I know they make quality stuff. I see a 6 pack box on a table and what should be rolled up where the beer should be ? underwear , they sell it by the 6 pack apparently.

Diapers and plastic panties, The panties make you sweat some, but if the diapers are thick enough it doesn't bother you. I don't have to go potty too often either.

At $22.50 a pair PLUS shipping, unless someone else is buying, that is just crazy expensive for underwear. I am willing to try anything, but that's literally 12 pairs of FOTL boxer briefs with the covered/padded/tagless waistband. Something tells me that while the Bucknakeds may be great, there is no way you can convince me that they are twelve times better.

I also do not predict good things for the future of Duluth brands now that they have sold out to the highest bidder and started the fast track to franchising. You just can't maintain their kind of quality control at 50 times the scale. I'm afraid a company I love, who I've been buying from since it was just a news print catalog you'd find in hunting and ski lodges, is going to flush their Americana cache and reputation for quality grabbing for the big bucks.

I don't think I'm crazy. L.L. Bean is a joke compared to what it used to be. Top shelf prices for k-mart quality. Without needing to name names, we have seen it happen more than once in the bass world, too.

Absolutely. I'd like to try them. I wear FOTL and Hanes boxer briefs...but at 20 some odd bucks for one pair...no way.

I agree about the expense. But with that said they are still a value, just more upfront money. I bought six pair, when they were on sale, about three years ago and they are still like brand new. Even the elastic waste band has not stretched a bit. Also, when you think about it, you wear your underpants more time than any other garment, so I prefer the extra comfort of these. Just sayin.

Still, no way they are 12 times the comfort/value of a nice pair of fotl. Don't know what you do in your underwear, but it takes a year or 2 for me to wear one out. At a 12 to one ratio, I'd contest the value point anyway.

Ok, first it's weird that I'm sharing info like this. That out of the way, I had ordered some "trunks" from American Eagle and I can say without any doubt they are the most comfortable I've ever worn. I'm going all in.

Now I need to find the perfect socks. I have super sensitive feet. I can get blisters fairly quick from a bad pair.
