that is about 1/2 the tunes they play... it's a typical bar / club gig with a lot of material to pull out at any given time.

It is EXCELLENT musically but some of the lyrics are about as deep as those from the Scorpions early 80's stuff (and they barely spoke English!)

I just got the album "Cuarto de Colores" by Edmar Castaneda. I saw him at the 55 Bar earlier this year and he absolutely blew me and my friend away. He plays the Columbian harp and a common initial reaction is "where's the bass player?" He uses two pickups and a separate guitar and bass amp. As if his unreal technique and rhythmic sense weren't enough, the other guys in the group were just as amazing. He played a new song that night that isn't on the album but I hope it makes it on the next one. It was dedicated to Jesus de Nazareth for giving him life and the talent for music. It brought people to tears, myself included. Can't wait to see him again.
