Awesome album, brilliant stuff, the worlds first concept garage albums! Mike Skinner is a fantastic MC, the beats are steady and there is a real groove and atmosphere to the thing...
I'm not a fan of garage by any means, but this holds my attention...the lyrics tell a stroy of Mikes....losing £1000 from his living room, meeting a girl, falling in love with her, fighting with her, going out with his mates, his mates abandon him, he finds out one of them has been cheating with his bird...he comes through the heartbreak and depression, recovers the £1000 and feels stronger for it.
Garage Concept, I reccommend you check it out, for the story as well as the music.
