Double Bass NS Design NXT4 or Aria SWB Lite?

I'm a novice to the world of EUBs but keen to have a go. I'm looking at either an Aria SWB Lite or NS Design NXT4. Can anyone offer any comments on either of these in terms of good points and bad points, playability and sound quality? Do they come anywhere close to emulating an acoustic upright?

Be grateful for any input

Thanks

I have had the Aria SWB lite for almost a year now. It is affordable, and relatively easy for beginners to start with.

I prefer to use the internal pickup. This gives the most convinsing up-right sound. The magnetic pickup makes it sound more like a regular el-bass.

Do you have the opportunity to try them both?

I am quite happy about my purchase, but know nothing about your other choice. Feel free to ask me more about Aria ;-)

Thanks for replying. Unfortunately I haven't been able to try either of them so I'm rather fumbling around trying to get input from anyone with first hand experience. The only EUB that anyone stocks around here is the Stagg one. I also can't find any decent video demos of the Aria on YouTube (although there are a few bad ones!). Do you have any audio or video of yours?

Isn't stagg a copy of aria ? At least the design? The electronics and overall quality is better on aria though. I will not start a discussion here but the advise i got was to stay away from stagg. But you could try it and get a feeling of how aria is build ...kind of (?) not 100% sure of this.

I haven't got any recordings of me playing unfortunately. I'll see if I can make a sample some day. ;-)
