I have had this for 1.5 years, thought I would give upright bass a try. I can see now that upright bass is just not for me.

This is an NXTa (Active) version. It sounds great. It is like new. It has seen very little use. I would tell you it plays great, but honestly, I am the wrong person to ask. I'm pretty limited in what I can play on it. But it is barely used.

It has been standing next to me in my living room in a humidified environment since the day I got it, and I have just been walking by it :-(

I think the reality is that bass guitar suits me, and that is OK. Time for to move this on to someone who will use it!

I am located in central NJ. I don't know how I'd ship something this big - so hopefully someone local is interested. But I am willing to talk about shipping. I supposed I could build some kind of shipping box out of the ones I use to ship bass guitars.

I think the strings are Traditionals, but I am not an expert so cannot say for sure.

Gig bag and charger included.

I am totally new to selling on TB, but for what it is worth, I have 100% positive feedback on ebay for 20+ years.
How much are you asking for it?

As I posted recently on here, the traditional strings have the large, cylinder shaped ball ends, while the contemporary have the ones with the holes, more like typical electric bass strings. I own an NXT5a, and I love it. I hope you make a good sale and it goes to a happy customer GLWTS :-)
