Details

Great example of an NYC PJ4 Circa 2009. Chambered adler body with a 1.5” Jazz neck with a 12” radius and a very rare and highly sought after) Brazilian(!) rosewood fingerboard.

Was previously owned by a famous Nashville bassist (and TB member), known for his studio and road/tour work. It comes with the standard Sadowsky preamp and a PJ pickup set up. It is relatively light, close to 8.2lbs on my home scale

This is a players bass. It sounds and plays tremendous, and as such has been played a lot. If you want a prestine collectors item, probably not the bass you want. If you want a great playing and sounding bass, and don’t mind a little love / road wear, this is your bass. Check out the pictures for more info.

The nitro finish on neck has been sanded down, and while it looks like a professional job, I cannot guarantee that. I do know that the neck feels and plays awesome. I prefer these kind of necks, as they resemble custom shop fenders.

The Sadowsky bag is included really just for shipping purposes. It doesn’t completely unzip, but is useable if you aren’t picky.

I haven’t had the bass too long, but realize I need a J/J setup to compliment my other P basses. So, for now, I’m only seeking trades (+/- cash) for a boutique 4 string jazz bass primarily from Sadowsky, Moollon, Olinto, Celinder, and A-C.

I have to resist taking an hour long diversion down the rabbit hole - I'm sure I saw this bass featured in a gear review rundown on Youtube at some point in the last few years. Just can't recall who it was.

Beautiful instrument though, GLWS.

Would also consider partial trades (+ cash) for a US Lakland 44-60 or a Fender Select Jazz, or the right Fender Custom Shop Jazz
