Hey everyone! Haven't posted on the site in awhile. I have been sort of reconsidering my gear lately and have been searching around here for answers.

I bought a really cool Yamaha BEX4 a few months ago - a really great hollow body bass with a piezo pickup in the bridge. It came with a set of nylon tapes on it that I really love but have to change due to intonation issues (I'm sure they are quite old). I put some LaBellas on the bass and it just aint the same.

The strings that were on there are low tension, buttery smooth, shinier than your average tape, not too heavy of a gauge, very warm sound (not piano string and not plastic), and they have BLACK SILK WRAPS.

From my research they seem to be Status Graphite, but I'm wondering if anybody knows of other black tapewounds with black silk wraps, before I go buy the status graphites. Also, does anyone know where to get the Status Graphites in the U.S.A.?

Thanks for any info!

TL;DR: What brands have nylon tapewounds with black silk wraps?

Just for clarification... Are you talking about BLACK nylon strings with BLACK SILK?

What color(s) are the ball ends?

EDIT: Sorry, I just realized you did mention "BLACK tapewound with black silk".
