OaNBD - (Ordered a NBD...did I make someone angry?)

Been thinkin I need a backup five string as I only have the one decent one. (Carvin LB75) Back when my girlfriend (now wife) bought me the Carvin, I had a G&L L2000 that was great. After awhile, I found I was playing the fiver almost exclusively and with family and monetary issues had to sell the G&L. Fast Forward almost 30 years (to now) and I figured why not another G&L, so I ordered this one from Reverb. B-stock and a Tribute version but still...very nice.
The reason I ask if I angered somebody, is that the listing had a note saying the bass was already in someone else's cart. It has been for the couple of weeks I've been eyeballing it. Anyway, hope I didn't snag it out from under someone on here...but if I did? TOUGH!!! lol

I think this is an age and terminology issue: most of us who grew up before the Internet existed wouldn’t grab a bag of cherries out of someone else’s cart at the supermarket and waltz over to the cash register to pay for it. Nor would we grab a bass out of someone’s hands at a brick and mortar music store. And some of us equate those actions with online “shopping carts”. While some online stores will empty your “cart” after a certain period of inactivity, others won’t and person could have stuff in their cart for hours, days, or weeks while they sit around making up their mind. On Reverb, if I’m thinking about buying something, it goes on my watch list. If I decide to buy it, I finish the purchase in 2 or 3 minutes.
