Have you even been in a store check out line only to suddenly realize that the items you're set to purchase must look really really weird to the cashier?
I was in line last night picking up a few quick things and remembered a bit like that done by some comedian, looked at what I was buying and it suddenly dawned on me that:
antifreeze, catfood, film, and potting soil can be easily misconstrued w/ a little bit of imagination...
Then there was the time when the missus was about 8 months pregnant and asked me to go out and pick her up a large bottle of hand creme and like 3 different women's magazines, of course two out of the three were like the "sexiest men alive" issues...
Then there's birthday shopping for the kids, when I'm buying Pokemon stuff, fluffy stuffed animals and/or action figures and feel the need to have say 'oh yeah, these are for my kids.."
Is it just me? Probably...

Back before I got Lasik and I did manual labor, my glasses would fall off at work.

I stopped at the drug store and had to be checked out by the cutie at the counter with glasses straps and a pack of condoms in my basket.

:help:

She probably wondered what weird stuff I was into that caused my glasses to keep flying off.

I had some very uncomfortable moments buying condoms and lube at the drug store across the street from the church I served in which also happen to be my home parish. Living around the corner it was very convient but unfortunately I was known by many of the people there.

I don't go to WalMart often, but when I do, I find it most entertaining to observe the odd collection of things the person in front of me is buying.

Just last night I went with my son at midnight to get a battery for his car, and the lady in front of us must have had at least one thing from every department in the store.

After I got my first tattoo, the owner of the told me to put preparation H on it for the first week following...I had to run to get to an open mic with my band, but following us playing, I went to the store to get it...my rhythm guitarists came with me....the teenage guy at the counter gave us quite a look when at 10:30pm two guys are buying a tube or preparation H.....we laughed the whole way home...

ahaha

Lets see, had to go to a Walmart to get alot of things, Some things went well together though

Had to get : condoms, a wiffle bat, real baseball bat, a "get well soon" card, some hand creme and halo2

I didn't even notice what the cashier musta been thinking till i got home, I took a look and said to myself, "*** they must thing imma pedophile!"

I got a good laugh outta it afterwards

Just buying Trojans is enough to get looks. I can't buy them from my old work(Target) for obvious reasons. :rollno: Really sucks too, because I love Target, and to get them from the grocery store means that I have to go to the Pharmacy and ask specifically(they're stored behind a locked glass window for whatever reason).

Weirdest stuff I've ever piled into a shopping basket were tampons, a couple quarts of motor oil(30 wt), a bag of Cheetos, and a sixer of Corona's.

The two girls in line behind me eyeballed my purchase, then me, then my purchase, then me, giggling the whole time.

So I leaned into 'em, smiled and said,"Party night, girls!"

Lady behind the register never said a word.
