Need some help... I'm transferring all my mp3 music from a Windows platform to a macbook. What's the best program to use for guitar to play-thru the Apple product and with the music in headphones. I'll need to stop and loop also.
Atm I'm using a Line 6 UX1 into windows based comp. I don't like the tone at all!
Thx.

That's my original post. My main question until I get it all transferred is:

If I hit a single note higher up on the fb, take the 14th fret low E string, the sustain sounds like it's waning in and out of tune, like if two strings were plucked octave and one was slightly off tune. Are my pickups too close to the strings or is it this Line 6/ software?
Thanks all, I'm really lost and need good tone from this thing.
Thank you.

I have a PC so I'm not sure whether it works the same. I had a similar issue with the UX2 but ultimately managed to resolve it by selecting LINE 6 ASIO as my sound driver instead of the default MME. You also should check your I/O signals in your DAW.

Finally, I would personally upload/import the MP3s into your DAW (audacity is free) and then record over that in a new track.

Also, make sure to launch Pod Farm for best results and check your gain levels.
