Of the victors, I prefer Bailey!

    Yeah, I know Wooten has the technique of the Gods, and he can do amazing things, but there's just something about Victor Bailey's groove that hits me in the soul.

    Anyone else?

    Yeah, I know what you mean. LowBlow has some of the fattest grooves I've ever heard. He really can fuse the techno-virtuosity of Victa W. with the monster funk grooves of Marcus. What a stud!

    Oh, I agree, Victor Bailey can blow with the best of them. He just prefers to lay back a bit from all the pyrotechnics!! Can slap like a mofo and lay lines on a fretless ala Jaco! To me, his best work was with the band 'Metro'! The 2 cd's he played has some of the best bass work I've ever heard! The man's also got his own forum. We all need to go there too and support him.
