Offical B.C. Rich Club!

Sorry for the crappy cell pic. Can I get a number for my 90's Warlock NJ w/Schaller tuners(soon to have EMG pups, and BTC pre)?

Superdick, im not saying that that is a fake but there are some things on that double neck that make me go....hmmmm, interesting...

Agreed. The full-size Grovers on the octave strings, the lack of rubber tips & beveled edges on the lower bouts, the headstock logos, the control layout, the string retainer behind the nut on the 8-string - there are many things on it that are not quite right...

Wrong, it's serial number indicates a 1989 bass, just when Class Axe were to take over from Rico Snr, quite a few basses from then didn't have the feet. It's still ugly though:)

Midas, your bass is called an ST.
Its from the Class Axe era which was from 1987 to 1993.
Hope that helps. Thats all I could really tell you from the picture you provided.

Thanks for the information! I just love that bass. I will upgrade it with gold hardware so that it can bee seen better on stage. It has a tone...very unlike the today BC Rich basses that you can find over here in Germany. It has an Anthrax - among the living - kind of tone. Loads of high end and it bites .. could be active but isn't.
Not an expensive model but not often to be seen here... And the headstock realy changes the way I feel while playing that bass! :-)

Can I have a number please?

By the way... WHY on earth don't they do the Ironbird bass anymore? Would buy at least 2!

And could you tell more with another picture or the serial number?

Maybe, im not so good with serial number dating on Class Axe stuff. Thats mostly because they really didnt have any method of recording or giving serial numbers for the import instruments during that time. They literally just picked a plate out of a box and bolted it on.

The only other thing I can tell you for sure is that yours has the less common (not saying rare) control layout. I used to have a 89 Plat ST and it had just 3 knobs no toggle. I dont know the difference in wiring but I can assume it is slightly different in some way.

I do happen to think the headstock looks good on the ST basses as well.

Heres a picture of mine when I had it

I'm glad they don't, they'd only F*** the shape up, and it would make my USA worth less:p

Thanks for my number! :-)
Concerning the Ironbird... they are so rare over here... I start of thinking to
let somebody make me a clone. There are Ironbirds on ebay USA sometimes but with shipping and customs... :-/

What can I say....W O W ! That bass is so cool!!!
Mine does not have color on the neck and this red... amazing bass!

The toggle... welll it is kind of useless because the ST has 2 volume and 1 tone knob...and a toggle to switch the pus.... to bad the ST is not more often to be seen! A really good bass with the look of the wild that can be played even by a player like me that is not in his 20s anymore! :-)
