Official Fender ACB Club

Unfortunately due to a shoulder injury I have to move on from my ACB50 + the extension cab that I built. I need to get something super lightweight, and may actually just end up DI for a while while I heal up. I love the ACB50 but time for it to go. It is 6 months old. It's been practiced and gigged. If you are interested in the ACB50, the extension cabinet (more details), or the ABY pedal I use with it, check out my TB ad over here

Successful surgery! Long recovery ahead... ACB50 has been sold. Custom ACB50 extension cabinet still for sale in the Classifieds, 0 shipped CONUS.

I wonder how long it will be before these start getting steep discounts? It doesn't seem to be selling that well.

I have a Fender Edge Deluxe amp (I'm a guitarist first). It's a great amp, but was expensive. There were a few dealers that drastically reduced the price on them after a short while.

I SALUTE those of you who purchased the ACB!!
I love tubes, and not since my B-15N when I was young(er) (shoulda never sold it, how was I to know???) have I much less seen a tube combo. Not an easy thing to design, not a cheap way to fly.
They would not be selling like hot cakes even if they were on the market.

I had one in my cart at Sweetwater then realized I had bills to pay- *&&^% at (Insurance Company name withheld) just raised my auto insurance $30/month 8&^%%. No reason!!! Anyway...

SW "Sales Engineer" keeps prodding me like the Devil he is, to buy it.

Really- I wish I could.

I bought this ACB50 second hand last month, thanks Chad, without really trying one beforehand. After using it on a dozen or so gigs, it has become my go to amp. I still use my 67 Ampeg B18, but this amp has been getting much more use. After it "passed the audition", I thought it was kinda boring with the black tolex, so I stripped it and covered it with tweed to give it a 1950's Bassman look. The look is probably not for everyone, but I certainly dig it.

Very nice, and I am so glad you are loving it! I definitely miss the tone, but the lightweight Rumble I bought to replace it is all I need right now. Nice work, thanks for buying, and it was great to meet you in person.

Yeah, I am heavily considering one. Can just imagine the sound of a high end hollowbody through one.

They have dropped in price a bit in Oz. Cheapest new one is $1050US.

My problem is I always have a backline, it would be a home amp for me and lately have been using the Boss Waza's, so really unnecessary.

I've had my amp listed for a while and it's proving hard to sell. New prices don't seem to be discounted but wonder how low I need to go to find a buyer for a near new amp?

Might have to just move it down to the practice space and then at least my wife won't ask me about it anymore!

Do you have it listed on Reverb? I noticed there's a couple used ones on Reverb at very good prices, but they're local pick up only.
