I almost forgot how absolutely funny and mesmerizing this video is. If you are into Roma gypsy/blues, you'll dig this! I first saw this video about 7 years ago (I think it's from the early/mid-1990s) and couldn't believe it was real. Well, they are a real band and have some really damn good music!
That was great! I actually dug the music. The more I watched it, the more I got sucked in.
Lots of good stuff from Nightlosers! They are in my personal top 5 list of "criminally underrated bands", but I can't recall the other 4...ha--ha!
I just watched their cover of "Hey Joe" - pretty damn good too. I liked them on FB. Thanks dude, great stuff. I was playing the Roma/Gypsy song when my wife and daughter suddenly appeared from no where out of the hallway, my daughter naked, who we were getting ready for bed and my wife in her underwear and bra. They were just dancing to the song and loving it and laughing. Great sight...I love those impromptu moments in life.
Haha, that's fantastic. I played in a band for a few months in 1983 that wasn't very different than that.
Speaking of which, the song gets a lot better when people with taste and talent cover it:
