Ohm question practice amp..

Tonight while playing through my 20 watt Peavey micro bass
practice amp decided to hookup an Avatar sb112 "4ohm"
to the speaker out which shuts off the internal speaker,
back the amp states 4ohm mim,so is the amp running at
4ohms or 2.6ohms? i'm a bit fuzzy on this..

I no longer have the manual for the amp..

4. They shut the internal speaker off to prevent it from dipping too low and overloading the amp. You will not harm the amp with that speaker.

Great, i was unsure if the internal is still puting out ohmage,
sounds good w/Avatar for low volume practice..
