OHMS QUESTION

Which would be a louder 4 ohm configuration.

1.)
An 8 ohm 18 inch woofer and two 4 ohm 10 inch drivers wired together for a combined 4 ohm load

OR

2.)
An 8 ohm 18 inch woofer and two 16 ohm 10 inch drivers wired together for a combined 4 ohm load?

So the 4Ω pair of 10s are in series, and the 16Ω pair are in parallel, and which ever pair you decide on are in parallel with the 18 for 4Ω total, right? I think the efficiency (SPL) rating of the 10s you choose would matter more than anything, the impedance itself wouldn't really matter much at all.

Yeah, I fail to see the importance of the impedance when both 210 combos give you an 8 ohm load. The cab/speaker specs themselves are way more important.
 
IF the sensitivities are identical, then the combinations will be identical.

In practice, there might be a slight sensitivity advantage to the 16 ohm driver.
