ok ive got spyware

Gentlemen. You've all overlooked the most useful proggy of all: "Hijack This".

I've had infections where none of the tools listed has worked fully. I've had to resort to running the tools mentioned, PLUS running "Hijack This" to identify rogue processes (It displays more processes, including "hidden" ones), and I have even had to create batch files that ran on startup to delete things that would pop up, and create other .exe's

Some of this stuff is so advanced, and so polymorphic that tools do not exist to clean it all.

You can't get a Trojan from being on TB and youtube.

Peavey, did you stop to think that maybe, just maybe Fontaine doesn't want the whole of TalkBass knowing about his personal life? :hmm::rollno:

Go to start->execute->write msconfig and hit enter->look in the new window for BOOT-> then look for a checkbox for boot in safe mode and hit aply->restart your pc->once booted run your antispyware programs-> restart the pc again (i just do it to be sure both spybot and ad-aware have fully done their tasks).->then do the first part again till you uncheck the safeboot chackbox aply it and restart in normalmode.

Or a game cheat code site. Those are worse than warez sites!

For free virus removal, go to www.trendmicro.com and run Housecall. It will also get rid of some spyware.


If none of the other spyware removal programs can get rid of everything, try this. Invalid Link Removed

My son goes to game cheat sites all the time, and Hitman Pro is the only thing that usually gets rid of everything.

Oh, and once you are done, set up a dual boot with Linux and only get online with Linux. Use M$ only for the things that you have to use it for.

well im using vista and i dont see no "execute"
