Okay its decided

I have been playing a bunch of different bass's and have decided I am going to buy a fender jazz mainly because i like them and because they are within my budget. But i was sondering what the best money-for-value jazz would be and would it be worth spending an extra couple hundred dollars to upgrade from a standard to... *insert bass here*? and money of that level is not really an issue atm

Check out the MIM reissues fender bass. They are fantastic and build in high quality too.

+1

I've played the 60s Classic Jazz, the 70s Classic Jazz (my favorite of the bunch), and the 50s Classic P. All of them were very well put together, nicely setup, and had a vibe of the tone you would associate with those respective eras. You get a lot for your money with these.
