So the old Ibanez Destroyer.. I have developed extreme GAS for them, do you guys have any idea where to find them other than ebay and checking out pawn shops, and any idea of what they would cost?

if your talking about a 70's model good luck and expect to spend $$$ (Ibanez/Greco) working in conjunction

like this:

now subsequent model where they tweaked the body style just a hair like this:

(sorry its a guitar pic but you get the idea on the body tweaks)

are fairly easy to come by and will run you anywhere from $300.00 on up depending on the model and manufacture date and condition

The DT-870 was made up until 2005 so you should be able to find a few around

I've always loved the Explorer/Destroyer shape for both it's right-arm comfort and the tone of all that extra wood.
The shape practically screams ROCK!

Still looking for an Ibanez, and will haunt Craigslist and pawnshops until I find a cheap dog that needs a rebuild.
Will deal with the case situation when it happens.

If I have to baby it in the front seat, so be it.

Never really thought about wanting one before, but that wide pickup placement is pretty intriguing. Never liked the Gibson style 3 point bridge though.

But seriously, Gibson's was first and the Ibby a copy, correct? Was this like the lawsuit Strat copies? Did Gibson ever sue?
