Oldie but such a newb

Hi all, i've been on TB for several years now, but feel like such a noob. How do you become member of the owners clubs, and get your membership number displayed in your profile?

No idea, just wanting to say Welcome. I did get a number from the Praise and Gospel people. They just gave me one. Perhaps the number guy/gal will see your post and do the same. Again, welcome.

There are actual threads for each "club".

So, if you own (for instance) an Acme Superdooper Bass then you would want to do a search for "Acme Superdooper Bass club " and there probably is one. Once you find the thread, post a reply (with a pic is a standard formality but not required) that says something like "Here's mine. Can I get a number?"

Then join in the conversation going on surrounding the thing you guys are mutual enthusiasts over.
