2008 MIA Standard Jazz Bass
Where can i get a control plate with a picture of a bare foot on it? Is that a custom item?
Unfortunately, with Poly finishes these days, it's unlikely to wear out like that. Poly is a lot harder, and one of the big reasons companies switched to Poly is specifically because they DON'T wear out like that.
Not here, not yet anyway...I need a job first. I've got a 59 Custom Shop P-bass relic in Oly White on my radar...

I don't have any pictures of it but I'm sure that you've all seen it. I have a Squier Classic Vibe 60s Jazz. It's a beautiful Olympic White with tort guard. I love that combination. It looks awesome with the vintage tint on the neck. The bass is a wonderful player, it sounds great (I didn't think I liked the passive J tone until hearing this), and is one sharp looking bass. The only thing missing is pearl block inlays. Mmm. I have some inlay stickers (overlays?) on it that look nice from a distance. It definitely isn't as nice as real inlays but it is certainly much more affordable.
I am all covered on the Jazz front but I could really use a Precision to match. I would love a Squier VM Precision in Olympic White and then replace the guard with one that looks like this:
I really like the darkness of the tort, as opposed to the reddish variety.
Then I'd like to swap the neck for one of the Classic Vibe Jazz necks or a Classic Vibe 60s Precision. I would prefer the Jazz neck but the Precision profile isn't that bad. I am mostly after that vintage tint and gloss, as well as the darker fretboard. Then I would order another set of the block stickers and have two matching Squier basses.
