Thinking of doing a carvin fretless build and I am torn as far as electronics. Anyone have any thoughts about onboard preamp vs stompbox preamps?
I recently picked up an Eden WTDI preamp/compressor that rocks pretty hard with this less-than-stellar warwick rockbass passive fretless. Should I keep it and get a passive fretless bass, or get an active bass and return the pedal?
