I wonder if any TBers have actually slimmed down their vast collections to just one or two (a back-up is always needed for gigging bassits, I guess), after finding the perfect match?If so, what was the "Holy Grail"?
I've owned about 20 basses in 20 years and have 8 at the moment, but I'm sure that if I could just land that one dream bass ...

I only have one right now: My Warwick Corvette Standard 4-string. It's all I need.
Often I have only owned one bass. Lately, I have had up to four basses. Owning one bass was usually cool, the only downside was that I was bassless when my bass way away getting a setup or some other work. Frankly, I have no desire to own more than maybe four (five) basses, and I could be really happy with two. Collections are wonderful, but in the end, it's all about the music.![]()
