so playing around with my new Phat Phuk B today-
and looking at Pedaltrain Nanos-
I started thinking it would be cool to put together a board
with only one (or zero) knob pedals.
I know there are lots of boosts, some fuzzes, some phasers...

I'm on a similar, overlapping, quest, but looking for small-format (e.g. 1590A format) pedal. Here's the thread.

Just wondering if there is one one Knob OD/Fuss/distortion pedal that most agree works well for bass.
Something that doesn't muddy-up the tone and keeps the bottom end intact...
I am looking for just that and have been flirting with the wayfarer-but being able to compare it to a few others( it is so far the only one knob OD I have seen clips of , or heard in any way) would of course lead to a more informed choice, which can't be a bad thing, right?

Any input greatly appreciated!

Cave Passive Pedal's Octa Bass is one knob, as well.

I am also wondering how it might compare to the baddy oneshoe wayfarer and other one know fuzzes and distortion boxes.
