I've been around for a while and found a lot of useful sites on this forum, but I have yet to see a place were a musician can cut a bass line they think is nice, upload it to your online 'band' and have other members from that band record tracks over yours until you create a new song. You could have the option to upload it to anyone or just make a group of musicians. You know, if you get some down time from your band and want to keep pressing on and creating. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] is kind of like that, but I'd like to find something that's a little more relaxed and not in a live recording environment, and a little more free($).
A site like this would mean that you can have all the creativity you want, without the pressures of commitment and pretty much work at your own leisure until you feel that you have something good in the works, then you can meet up irl and cut an album. Sorry if this is sounds confusing, I'm a little tired, hah.
