Opinions on Ampeg Rocket Bass RB-115

I have a chance to buy a used RB-115. It will be used for a back up amp mainly. The reviews I've read seem pretty good.
Are these amps reliable? Any experience with these amps is welcome. thanks.

No experience with the 115, but I've been using the 112 for about a year as my backup DI/small venue/haularound practice amp and it's been a champ other than a screw on the casing coming loose after about 200 hours of use.

I own 2 RB112, my compliant are SGT grit pot will become scratchy after 8 months using , even tough i been cliam 2 new preamp board. My second bought RB112 on Oct 2024, already shown the scratchy issue , but not as serious as the first RB112. Meanwhile, the Ultra Lo swtch also produce noice when press in or out. Both new and old RB112 has same issue once the combo age about 6 months....

But..... i love this RB112 sound pretty much.

I’d say it’s a good amp at a good price (if it ain’t broke). Get.

I love mine. No issues at all. Would buy another one if something happened to this one.

I did buy the amp. Has plenty of power and is light in weight. I still have to dial in the tone I like. After that, there won't be a lot of tone adjustment, just volume. Just hope it lasts a long time! Thanks to everyone for their comments.

It's a good amp if it doesn't get bounced around. I had one and the sound would just stop.
One of the MOLEX type headers was not securing in its socket. It wouldn't stay either. Ended up selling.
Seems like they spared every expense in making this amp inexpensive.
