My only five is a 2008 Am. Std. Jazz, and I think it's great. It's light and incredibly resonant, and sounds fantastic. The B string is suitably tight, and like Scott said it does match the other strings sonically. The tone stays clear all the way down, without the disembodied "boom" I've heard with some B strings. I wish the action could get lower. It has a comfortable neck and great playability, but I've been spoiled my Plek treated G&L fours for low action.
