Anybody familiar with the Nemesis NC115, its character, dependability, and viability for mid-sized gigs?

Opinions on Nemesis NC115?

Nemesis in general are great, but the 210 is much better than the 115. I used and abused one for 5 years without any problems.
My NC210 had a very accurate hi-fi sound with great extended lows. I eventually upgraded to Eden WT300/210XST which has a little more of everything, but still a very similar tonal quality. If you like your bass through studio monitors, you'll like a Nemesis or Eden.
I think the best in the Nemesis series is the 212.

Bump, I was about to start an identical thread but thought it better to revive this one. I'm considering a pair of Nemesis 115's to be my "mini" rig, using either my Warwick Profet 5.1 or Ashton tube head. Just wondering if anyone has some opinions on this cab especially if you use them with a tube head or use a pair of them at once.

Your question has to do with the NC115 (Nemesis combo) model, correct? If so, the following might be helpful.
One of my favorite amps of all time is an old Eden Nemesis 2x12 combo (NC212: 225 watts RMS @4ohms, 350 watts peak, 102db SPL, compressor, semiparametric EQ, DI level, effects loop, tuner out, headphone jack, composite cabinet). It's the one with the cooling fins on the back, pre-internal fan. It was an affordable back-friendly tone monster, handling a B-string with ease.
It was reliable, had great tonal character, and was flexible in use due to the excellent DI output to PA. As a standalone, it had juice to spare, even in the realm of a heavy-handed rock drummer. However, once drum mics are used, you'll need PA support.
I have several friends that swear by their 115s and refuse to use 10s and 12s. I am sure that only the 15" version of Nemesis would satisfy them.
Here's the Eden "no secret" recipe: Connect your bass. Set the tone controls flat (six o'clock). Set enhance at zero. Set volume levels. Play music!
However, the most important opinion in all of this is yours. Test it before you buy it. (See the green link below for some ideas.)

I know this post is years old but better late than never ...
I've been using the NC115 ( NC250 with 15" speaker and tweeter ) since 2005 as my main rig .. I play light jazz to loud rock with both upright and electric bass and this amp is quite versatile ... For a combo amp it has many pro features ( compression , parametric EQ, enhance control , effects loop, xlr out with ground lift and level, tuner out ) and they all work well ...
The only down side is a plus for others ... It shapes your bass with that Eden sound so for upright it sometimes gets in the way ... But some users love it ... Especially for electric use

I have had the 4x10 but now I've moved on to 2 1x115 an rs115n and the older model. The 4x10 had a huge amount of power for it's rating the 15's fart out another quicker but the sound. Oh the sound the sound is huge and low and massive
