Opinions on this p-bass please

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

It's pricey but looks like it's in good condition, however, the colour seems a bit weird- is there enough black on the outer parts of the body?
Also, is there a difference between a 62 and 61 p-bass? ( I got the impression they are the same, with reverse tuners, slab neck, clay dots etc, but I've seen some posts that say the pickups were changed in 1962. Could someone enlighten me?)
Thanks for your help/ opinions

I'm no expert but you might ask about the pots; solder joint looks sloppier than I remembered and I thought there would be a manufacturers date code:

These guys have been in business for ages and I don't recall hearing anything bad about them. I would think that their price would be neogtiable in this market

Looks legit to me, and wow, the condition! Not sure about a pickup change from 61/62, neaver heard anything like that.

That said - if I had 10 grand I'd but the 63 P Refin they have, and one of the two single coil tele basses they have (I think the black one), and have a few bucks left over.
