These amps are made from pure awesome! The tone you can get out of them is amazing. So I was wondering if anyone else here used one. I have a 35 watt crush and I worship it!

Orange Amplifiers

I am enjoying my 35watt orange crush... My first amp however, but it certainly serves my purposes... Sounds great clean, or with gain pegged for some dirt.
For a true taste of Orange tone I really think you should try the AD200 into a large amount of 15's or 10's

i was so close to getting an lg1000! but then i got this
an ad140b and 115 cab! but im now considering selling it for a hughes and kettner or gk fusion 550.

im probs keeping the cab but the head is heavy, and really big. im looking at maybe downsizing the weight and size by bout half, but increasing the volume by bout double as sometimes you can only feel the bass not hear me in our non pa gigs, as our guitards have 350w marshall and all valve 100w laney half stacks so im starting to feel that 140w isnt enough for our gigs really.
i am gonna go try out a load of amps ranging from markbass-hughes n kettner, im hopeing tht if i do decide to sell the head the funds from the sale will hopefully put nearly all the money into the new one.

You seem to have conflicting needs. Size can matter. Speaker area does. Could your band turn down?

lighter, more powerful, take up less room as i wnt rack mount them.
i know they wnt sound the same b4 theres an onslaught
Do you guys know if effects like fuzz sound good through Orange, or is that more dependent on bass?
Agreed. No single 15 will be able to compete with a 100W 4x12 guitar amp. A rule of thumb is 5 to 10 times your guitar players power and the speakers to safely handle that. My normal gigging system is a pair of 2x10 cabinets driven with 350W each for a usable 700W. This has served me well but should I need more I have another pair of matching 2x10 cabinets and a different power amp to give me a usable 1400W.

this is actually what im thinking bout doing, getting a couple of 210/212's.
thats why im looking at the h n k 650w at 4 ohms
adding another cab isn't an option to my current rig as i have no way of transporting or moving it

I hear you. But the tone is great-best I've had. I sold an AD200 a while back , missed it and eventually aquired another. I admittedly don't usually bring it out, however, due mainly to weight/convenience.
indeed i wish i had the money to leave keep it as a second amp, but i just can't and for ease in a few months when my bands gigging starts again it be nice to have a lighter head, and maybe some lighter cabs?
The AD200 is my 'light weight' head. ...I guess everything is relative.
