Does it matter if I switch 4 ohm or 8 ohms on a 8 ohm 500 watt cabinet ? I'm using a Peavey 1615 bass cabinet

Orange bass terror 500 Question

As the OP of that ^ thread, I never figured out the answer to the Terror v2 impedance switch - other than no matter where I put that switch, I couldn't hang with the band I was playing with using the Terror and my 8-ohm cab.
