Orange obc410 vs Mesa Subway 410

I have yet to try the Subway 115 or 215. With what I have heard from the 212 and 410 cabs I would expect nothing but extraordinaire. Again, people should try as much as possible to find what they like. I'm just fortunate enough to have found my niche. But in reality, I've moved away from using amps with FOH. Now I use Quad Cortex or Anagram. Revolt. Subway pedal. Le Bass. Whatever one of my 6...er...8 (not important) pedal boards I use I know the sound will rock.

Agreed! I have also moved to the quad cortex haha I’ve narrowed in on my collection but you’re the number is not important

Can’t speak for the Orange as I’ve never played through any of their gear, but I do own a Subway 410 and it’s incredible. Indoors, outdoors it don’t matter. Unfathomable low end heft and very articulate without being pokie. I’ll never part with it, unless Andy and team design a vertical 410.

Ampeg was never a sound I enjoyed. Played through many a SVT and always ended up wondering what all the hype was about. I've been on the Subway since they hit the market and could not be happier.

Nope. Slightly different vibes though, the subway has way more clarity and low end and those are things I was looking for.

I use 1 or 2 depending upon the gig BUT typically only 1 is required. It's all I need 99% of the time!

I use my SUBWAY 4x10 often and it always delivers. I use it primarily with the WD800 and sometimes with the D800.
I never have a problem dialing in my desired tone with the SUBWAY gear.
Never experienced Orange but 95lbs is a hard pass. ( I’m old )

Any of the Subway cabinets would be a good choice, we used the Strategy as one of our test amps when we were developing the speaker line, along with the D-800/800+ and others like the Bass 400+, Walkabout, Carbine’s, etc.

I plugged my yba-1 which I love for guitar crunchy stuff and warm bass gooo

Into the Mesa we are talking about here the 212 I bought…… the amp sounds like a hiwatt…. Note separation - clarity…. Insane. Scooped sure….. but I didn’t realize how much my cab was contributing to my heads

The 212 isn’t scooped much at all, it’s a pretty neutral (slightly mid forward) cabinet.
