Ordered a Maestro 7 string fretless acoustic . . .

. . . recieved a 5 string fretless acoustic instead. I played on it for a bit before I returned it. The company was really good about everything. For the price, they're pretty nice. Had some good neck dive so I could only imagine the dive on the 7 string. The bass itself was in good shape, decent tuners, good finish. Nothing stood out as being terribly flawed. The strings were old and junky though. The B sounded pretty good acoustically, but when plugged in, the volume drop is pretty noticeable compared to the rest of the strings. The action was good and it probably would sound pretty good with some new strings. They told me it would be 3 months before they get any more 7 strings.

You should have told them it would be 3 months before you could send back the fiver.

I had a fretless 5 ABG but I traded it because I didn't like the acoustic B. I figured if I was going to play plugged in I might as well just go electric so my ABG is a 4 and the main reason I got that one was because the price was so good and I remembered when I was looking around at ABGs that one sounded so much better than all the others .. even the Martin & Taylor.. but it was still out of my price range until I caught a great sale a few months back. .. but I gather this is not a bass...
