I just won this goalie glove and blocker. Up until 30 seconds before the auction ended, I thought i just might get the set for $5.25. However, 4 bids at 30 seconds turned into 11 bids by auction's end. That's not a sniper; that's a friggin' firing squad. In 30 seconds it went from $5.75 to $50.
I shouldn't complain, because they're really in excellent condition (most puck marks rub off, and Mr. Clean magic Eraser gets the rest) and the pair sell for $250 new. Still, I was 30 seconds away from making the steal of the century.
